Etwall Road - Temporary Road Closure For Any Inconvenience Caused While Work Takes Place
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ETWALL ROAD, EGGINTON
WHEN: 22 June to 23 June 2024 (22:00 to 07:00).
WHERE: Etwall Road, Egginton (at a point approx. 360m south from its Jct. with Boundary Road, for an approx. distance of 60m).
REASON: To facilitate annual level crossing test.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Etwall Road, Hilton Road, A5132 Egginton Road, A516 Derby Road, Derby Road, Egginton Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
