What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
MOOR LANE, CARNABY

Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire
Council intends not less than seven days from the date
of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along
Moor Lane, Carnaby (Full extent) from the junction
of Main Street commencing 26 June 2024 at 00.00
hours until 23.59 hours 27 June to allow carriageway
patching works to be carried out in safety. The road
closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried
out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of
the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is
anticipated that the works will be completed by
27 June 2024. No diversion route due to no through
road. The road will be closed to all traffic but access
will be maintained for emergency vehicles, residents
and pedestrians.
