Various Roads Doncaster - To Introduce a 20mph Spped Limit

SPEED LIMITS (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2011
(AMENDMENT NO. 111) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that on the 5th day of June 2024 the City of Doncaster
Council made an Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act, 1984.
The effect of the Order that will come into operation on the 17th day of June 2024
will be to:
introduce a 20 mph speed limit on the following roads:

(ii) remove the existing 20mph speed limit on the following roads:
CHURCH BALK, EDENTHORPE which extends from a point 12m southeast of its
junction with Locksley Avenue for a distance of 300m in a generally north westerly
direction (outside number 105).
ATHELSTANE CRESCENT EDENTHORPE from a point 35m northwest of its junction
with Locksley Avenue
A copy of the Order and a map showing the restricted roads may be examined at the
Council Offices, Civic Office, Waterdale, Doncaster between 8.45 a.m. and 4.45 p.m.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any of the provisions contained
therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic
Regulation Act, 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any
instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you
may within six weeks from the 5th day of June 2024 apply to the High Court for
this purpose.
