NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 6 June 2024 Sheffield City Council made the above Orders which come into operation on 10 June 2024 under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Orders will be to introduce a 20mph speed limit on the whole or on parts of Archer Lane, Bannerdale View, Banner Cross Drive, Bannerdale Close, Bannerdale Road, Barmouth Road, Brentwood Avenue, Brentwood Road, Brincliffe Edge Close, Brincliffe Edge Road, Carter Knowle Avenue, Carter Knowle Road, Charnley Avenue, Charnley Close, Charnley Drive, Charnley Rise, Coverdale Road, Dalmore Road, Dovedale Road, Falmouth Road, Fossdale Road, Glenorchy Road, Glentilt Road, Jowitt Road, Knab Close, Knab Croft, Knab Rise, Knab Road, Lynmouth Road, Montrose Road, Needham Way, Plymouth Road, Quarry Lane, St Oswalds Way, Struan Road, Swaledale Road, Talmont Road, The Lawns and Wyatt Avenue.
A copy of the Orders may be examined during normal opening hours at First Point Reception, Howden House, 1 Union Street, Sheffield, S1 2SH or within the Sealed Traffic Orders section on the Council website at

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Orders or any of the provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the enabling Act or that a requirement of the enabling Act or any of the relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within six weeks of 6 June 2024 make application for that purpose to the High Court.
