What is happening?

CITY OF DONCASTER COUNCIL
(VARIOUS ROADS DONCASTER)
SPEED LIMITS (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2011
(AMENDMENT NO. 112) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that on the 5th day of June 2024 the City of Doncaster
Council made an Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act, 1984.
The effect of the Order that will come into operation on the 17th day of June 2024
will be to introduce a 20 mph speed limit on the following roads:
KIRK SANDALL

CONNAUGHT DRIVE
COWLEY PLACE
CURZEN CRESCENT
ECCLESTON ROAD
EDGE GREEN
GLADE VIEW
GRANGE PARK
HAREWOOD AVENUE
HESKETH DRIVE
KING GEORGE SQUARE
LANCASTER AVENUE
LATHAM SQUARE

LONGTON ROAD
PRINCE’S SQUARE
RAINFORD SQUARE
ST HELEN’S SQUARE
ST JAMES CLOSE
STANLEY SQUARE
SUTTON ROAD
TARLETON CLOSE
THOROLD PLACE
TYNEDALE CLOSE
WINDLE SQUARE

A copy of the Order and a map showing the restricted roads may be examined at the
Council Offices, Civic Office, Waterdale, Doncaster between 8.45 a.m. and 4.45 p.m.
Monday to Friday or on the City of Doncaster Council Website via the following link

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any of the provisions contained
therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic
Regulation Act, 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any
instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you
may within six weeks from the 5th day of June 2024 apply to the High Court for
this purpose.
