TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1061 THE STREET, GREAT BRADLEY

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1061 The Street, Great Bradley from Hall Road to outside Byfield House to facilitate safe access for a telecommunications pole replacement. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be B1061, the A143, the B1063, the A1304, the B1061 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 31/05/2024 from 10am - 2.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF FOOTPATH 1, THURSTON

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing Footpath 1, Thurston from Ixworth Road to Meadow Lane to facilitate resurfacing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Ixworth Road, Norton Road, Meadow Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/06/2024 - 10/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 6 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF BRIDLEWAY 1, IXWORTH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing Bridleway 1, Ixworth from the junction with Commister Lane for 1308 metres westbound to facilitate bridge repairs. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/06/2024 - 04/10/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 6 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U2013 CLIFF LANE, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads in the following phases:

1. the U2013 Cliff Lane, Ipswich from Elmhurst Drive to Dereham Avenue

2. the U2013 Cliff Lane, Ipswich from Elmhurst Drive to Nacton Road Service Road.

This is to facilitate a gas replacement scheme. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Clapgate Lane, Landseer Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/06/2024 - 04/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1113 NEWTON ROAD, STOWMARKET

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1113 Newton Road, Stowmarket from no. 85 for 40 metres southbound to facilitate providing access to a telegraph pole. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Newton Road, the B1113, the A143, the A140, Great North Road, the A140, the B1115, Stowupland Road and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U5030 BIRKFIELD DRIVE, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U5030 Birkfield Drive, Ipswich from Janebrook Road to Sandpiper Road to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Janebrook Road, Sandpiper Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 11/06/2024 - 12/06/2024 from 9am - 4.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

• the U4462 White House Road, Ipswich from no. 21 to Wicklow Road

• the U4460 Wicklow Road, Ipswich from White House Road to Donegal Road.

This is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be White House Road, Waterford Road, Donegal Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/06/2024 - 11/06/2024 from 9.30am - 4.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U2416 St Margarets Crescent, Leiston from the junction with Waterloo Avenue to no. 30 to facilitate the installation of new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the A1141 Monks Eleigh Road, Brent Eleigh from 210 metres east of Footpath 4, Brent Eleigh for 30 metres eastbound to facilitate a new wafer connection. Other co-ordinated works may also Take place during this period.

The diversion route will be the A1141, the A1071, the A134, the A1141 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 09/06/2024 from 8am - 6pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A143 HORRINGER ROAD, BURY ST EDMUNDS

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the A143 Horringer Road, Bury St Edmunds from the junction with Horsecroft Road to the junction with Bristol Road to facilitate clearing a water blockage. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Out Westgate, the A134, the A1092, the A143 and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1078 IPSWICH ROAD,

NEDGING WITH NAUGHTON

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1078 Ipswich Road, Nedging with Naughton from 130 metres north west of Bramble Cottage for 80 metres north westbound to facilitate de-vegetation works, construction of an access and excavation in the carriageway. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1078, the B1113, the A1308, the B1115 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate:

• from 7pm on 31/05/2024 - 6am on 03/0672024

• from 7pm on 07/06/2024 - 6am on 10/06/2024.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U8142 HALL ROAD, LAVENHAM

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U8142 Hall Road, Lavenham from High Street to no. 4 to facilitate the installation of telecommunications ducting. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Hall Road, Church Street, High Street and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4508 MILL ROAD, BUXHALL

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U4508 Mill Road, Buxhall from Mill View Cottage for 30 metres southbound to facilitate a water meter exchange. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Rattlesden Road, Purple Hill, Brettenham Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 10/06/2024 from 7.30am - 1pm but, if necessary,

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A154 GARRISON LANE, FELIXSTOWE

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the A154 Garrison Lane, Felixstowe from Princes Gardens for 70 metres northbound to facilitate the installation of new foul gravity sewer and manhole cover. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

• Southbound - Grove Road, Beatrice Avenue, Hamilton Road, Crescent Road, Leopold Road, Orwell Road and no vice versa.

• Northbound - Orwell Road, Highfield Road, Crescent Road, Hamilton Road, Beatrice Avenue, Grove Road and no vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/06/2024 - 01/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE A143 HAVERHILL ROAD,

LITTLE WRATTING

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order for a temporary 30 mph speed restriction on the A143 Haverhill Road, Little Wratting from 135 metres northeast of Wash Farm for 500 metres north eastbound to facilitate safe access and egress to site entrances. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

It is intended that this measure will operate from 10/06/2024 - 26/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads in the following phases:

1. • the U1065 St Peters Street, Ipswich

• the U1024 Rose Lane, Ipswich from the junction with St Peters Street to no. 5 St Peters Street

2. • the U1065 St Peters Street, Ipswich from Rose Lane to St Nicholas Street

• the U1064 St Nicholas Street, Ipswich

3. • the U1064 St Nicholas Street, Ipswich from Friars Street to no. 4 St Nicholas Street.

This is to facilitate a carriageway survey. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during

this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

• 1. and 2. (Northbound) Star Lane, Lower Orwell Street, Key Street, College Street, Bridge Street, Greyfriars Road, Franciscan Way, Princes Street, Friars Street, St Nicholas Street and no vice versa.

• 1. and 2. (Southbound) Cutler Street, Greyfriars Road, Star Lane and no vice versa.

• 3. Friars Street, Princes Street, Franciscan Way, Greyfriars Road, Bridge Street, Star Lane, St Peters Street and no vice versa.

It is intended that the closures will operate from:

1.10/06/2024 -12/06/2024 from 7pm - 5am

2.12/06/2024 -13/06/2024 from 7pm - 5am

3.13/06/2024 - 15/06/2024 from 7pm - 5am.

If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C532 Athelington Road, Southolt from 650 metres west of the junction with Horham Road for 40 metres westbound to facilitate new water connections. The diversion route will be Woodlane Road, Church Road, Low Road, Green Lane, Redlingfield Road, Worlingworth Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/06/2024 - 12/06/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U5621 Monk Soham Road, Bedfield from the junction with Earl Soham Road for 60 metres south westbound to facilitate the construction of a new sewer manhole. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Earl Soham Road, the A1120, Low Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/06/2024 - 23/06/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF NO ENTRY ON PART OF THE U4541 WALNUT TREE WALK, STOWMARKET

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order dosing the U4541 Walnut Tree Walk, Stowmarket from no. 17 - no. 26 to facilitate removing and renewing the existing boundary wall and resurfacing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion routes will be:

• for motor vehicles - Walnut Tree Walk, Violet Hill Road, Recreation Road and vice versa.

• for pedestrians - Recreation Road, Stowmarket Footpath 020, Byles Walk, Walnut Tree Walk and vice versa.

For the duration of this closure there will also be a temporary suspension of No Entry on the U4541 Walnut Tree Walk, Stowmarket from the junction with Violet Hill Road.

It is intended that these measures will operate from 10/06/2024 - 23/08/2024 but, if necessary,

the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

(PARISH OF LAXFIELD) (WOODBRIDGE) (BICKERS HILL ROAD) (C516)

(30MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 202-

Suffolk County Council proposes to make the above-named order for the Parish of Laxfield, under section 84(1 )(a) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The effect of this would be to introduce:

A 30mph speed limit on:

• Bickers Hill Road (C516), which is proposed to extend beyond the existing speed limit signage, 19 metres north of comer of property no. 3, for a total distance of 166 meters north of property no. 3.

Copies of the draft order, maps showing the roads affected and the Council's reasons for the proposals, may be seen with advance notice at the address below from 9am. - 5pm Monday - Friday and also at Woodbridge Library, New Street, Woodbridge IP12 1DT Monday; 10am - 5pm, Tuesday: 9am - 6.30pm, Wednesday - Thursday; 9am - 5.30pm Friday; 9am -7pm, Saturday; 9am - 5pm and Sunday; 10am - 4pm (excluding bank holidays and public holidays).
