TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES
ALBERT BRIDGE
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in conjunction with Wandsworth Borough Council has made an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991
Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1)(A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.
ROAD CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR FILMING.
Albert Bridge to be closed from the junction of Cheyne walk and Chelsea Embankment on the north side of the river to the junction of Anhalt Road on the south side of the river.
To be closed from 19.00hrs on Wednesday 12th June 2024 until 04.00hrs on Thursday 13th June 2024.
Diverted traffic may use Chelsea Embankment, Cheyne Walk, Battersea Bridge, Battersea Bridge Road, Parkgate Road, Albert Bridge Road, in both directions.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
