Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

A439 WARWICK ROAD, STRATFORD UPON AVON
Order Effect: Road closed between the A46 Marraway Island and A3400 Bridgeway (Stratford Gyratory). Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing/lining works, closed 20.00hrs-06.00hrs (All nights). Order Commences: 3 June 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 7 July 2024. Access & Diversion: A3400 (Bridgeway, Guild Street, Birmingham Road), A46 and vice versa. Access/Egress to  be maintained where possible to businesses and residents only. Whilst works are in progress the following will apply: Restricted access/egress to/from St. Gregory’s Road and Welcombe Road, Access/egress to/from Ingon Lane to be via A46/Kings Lane and Sand Barn Lane to be via A46 only. No access/egress to/from Stratford Road and

BROOK LANE, TREDINGTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Remedial works to rectify HA defect. Order Commences: 6 June 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 6 June 2024. Access & Diversion: No suitable diversion. Contractor: Network Plus, Tel: 07955 722 171.

C22 LAPWORTH STREET, LOWSONFORD
Order Effect: Road closed between Yew Tree Lane and Mill Lane. Reason for Order: Drainage works, closed 09.30hrs15.30hrs. Order Commences: 24 June 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 28 June 2024. Access & Diversion: Mill Lane, Finwood Road, Old Warwick Road, Station Lane, Rising Lane, Packwod Lane, Old Warwick Road, Lapworth Street and vice versa. D5342 GUILD ROAD, ASTON CANTLOW
Order Effect: Road closed in its entirety from Bearley Road. Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing, and footway reconstruction works, closed 08.00hrs-17.00hrs, weekdays only. Order Commences: 3 June 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 20 June 2024. Access & Diversion: No suitable diversion. GRANGE ROAD, STRATFORD-UPON-AVON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Works to lay new gas service. Order Commences: 3 June 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 7 June 2024. Access & Diversion: Grange Road, School Lane, Snitterfield Road, Oaktree Close and vice versa. Contractor: Headway Traffic Management, Tel:  01564 820 118.

LAPWORTH STREET, LOWSONFORD
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from a point outside Potato Lane. Reason for Order: To enable installation of an electrical power supply and associated works. Order Commences: 1 June 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 5 June 2024. Access & Diversion: Mill Lane, Finwood Road, Old Warwick Road, Lapworth Street and vice versa. Contractor: EV/Solar Connections UK Ltd, Tel:  07534 466 856.

SHOTTERY ROAD, STRATFORD-UPON-AVON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Cabling works for new customer connection, closed 10.30hrs-16.30hrs. Order Commences: 3 June 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 3 June 2024. Access & Diversion: Shottery Road, Evesham Road, Brookvale Road and vice versa.

C50 LITTLE WOLFORD ROAD, LITTLE WOLFORD
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between the junctions Green Farm and the A3400. Reason for Order: Drainage and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs Order Commences: 13 June 2024 for 18.00months Anticipated Completion: 14 June 2024 Access & Diversion: Little Wolford Road, Barton on Heath Road, Barton Road, Crockwell Street, A3400, and

D6116 VINCENT AVENUE, STRATFORD UPON AVON
Order Effect: Road closed in its entirety from Clopton Road. Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction works, closed 08.00hrs-17.00hrs. Order Commences: 17 June 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 21 June 2024.
Access & Diversion: No suitable diversion. Access/ Egress to be maintained where possible to businesses and residents only. Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.

NARROW LANE, LOWSONFORD, ROWINGTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from the road to Foxcote Farm easterly for approximately 50 metres. Reason for Order: To provide a safe working area for engineers to access telegraph poles for fibre overhead
cabling works. Order Commences: 20 June 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 20 June 2024. Access & Diversion: Narrow Lane, Back Lane, Shrewley Common, The Cumsey, Lye Green Road, The Green,
Henley Road, Warwick Road, Preston Road, New Road and vice versa. Contractor: Sunbelt Rentals Ltd, Tel: 03700 500 792.

LONG MARSTON ROAD AND DORSINGTON ROAD, DORSINGTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Access for engineer to provide new customer service. Order Commences: 20 June 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 20 June 2024. Access & Diversion: Long Marston Road, Dorsington Road, Welford Road, Main Street, Pear Tree Close, Barton Road and vice versa. SPRING LANE, LANGLEY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: To enable a boundary box renewal. Order Commences: 17 June 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 18 June 2024. Access & Diversion: Spring Lane, Ford Lane and vice versa. Contractor: For STW, Chevron TM Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

STRATFORD ROAD, ILMINGTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with Front Street in a northerly direction to the junction with Admington Road. Reason for Order: To enable works for laying duct and installing new chambers.
Order Commences: 18 June 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 30 June 2024. Access & Diversion: Stratford Road, Ilmington Road, Wimpstone Lane, Shipston Road, Old Road, Halford Road, Armscote Road, Front Street and vice versa. Contractor: KN Circet, Tel: 08000 859 194.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible. (DISTRICT OF STRATFORD ON AVON) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS, ON STREET PARKING PLACES AND RESIDENTS’ PARKING) (CONSOLIDATION) (VARIATION NO. 7) ORDER 2024
Warwickshire County Council has made the above named Variation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which varies the existing District of Stratford on Avon (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions, On Street Parking Places and Residents’ Parking) (Consolidation) Order 2017, as briefly described (by approximate measurements) in the Schedule below.
The Order commences on Monday 03 June 2024. A copy of the Order, together with a copy of the Order which has been varied, Plans and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order are available to view at Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick, and online on the Council’s website at https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20209/stratford-avon-district. Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within six weeks from the date of the making  of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
