Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) C150 (Part), Corsham; from its junction with Ladbrook Lane to its junction with C163 to enable Openreach to carry out installation of cable ducting and associated works. Alternative route via C150 (unaffected length) - B3353 - A4 - A350 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 24 June 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:30 and 15:30 for 2 days. Alternative route via B3109 (unaffected length) - A365 - A4 - A363 - B3105 - B3109 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 03 June 2024 and the closure will be required for 24 hours a day until 14 June 2024. F) C400 (Part), Melksham Way; from its roundabout junction with A365 to its junction with Fulmar Close to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. Alternative route f) via C400 (unaffected length) - A365 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 03 June 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 23:59 until 10 June 2024. This Order will come into operation on 03 June 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 for 2 days. H) Park Road (Part), Trowbridge; from its junction with Silver Street for a distance of approximately 60m in a south easterly direction to enable Beard Construction to carry out scaffolding works on Town Hall and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 03 June 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 weekdays only until 28 June 2024. I) Farleigh Lane (Part), Westwood; from its junction with C217 to outside its property known as The Manor House to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out junction improvements and associated works. Alternative route via Farleigh Lane (unaffected length) - A366 - C217 and vice versa. This Order which previously came into operation on 13 November 2024 will now recommence on 03 June 2024 and the closure will be required until 14 June 2024. Orders A) to H) will have a maximum duration of 18 months, Order I) has a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (A4 BATH ROAD AND CROSS KEYS ROAD, CORSHAM) (50MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be as follows: To amend The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Corsham) (Derestricted Roads) Order 2001 by revocation of the following A4 Chippenham Road - From a point 18m north-east of its junction with Hartham Lane for a distance of 470m in a north-easterly direction and to introduce a 50mph speed limit on the following lengths of road: A4 Bath Road, Corsham - from a point 22 metres north east of its junction with Hartham Lane, for a distance of 898 metres in a north easterly direction; Cross Keys Road - from its junction with A4 Bath Road for a distance of 75 metres in a southerly direction. Copies of the draft Order, plan and Statement of the Council's Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may be seen at Corsham Library, Springfield Community Campus, Beechfield Road, Corsham between the hours of 9am - 7pm Monday and Friday and 9am - 5pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday until 24 June 2024.
