No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads: and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads: and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road were indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing works and maintenance works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and on street advanced warning signs before the scheme commences. The Isle of Wight Council (Dudley Road, Ventnor, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2024 - Dudley Road will be closed for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally.
The Isle of Wight Council (Cycle Track from Sandown to Newport, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians and Cyclists) Order No 9 2024 - Cycle Track from Sandown to Newport will be closed between Its Junctions with Blackwater Road and Merstone Lane. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1900 hours until 2200 hours on Thursday 06 June 2024, or when the event has finished, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to proceed along a) Bridge Road, from its junction with The Quay and its junction with St James Street, b) Market Square from its junction with Pier Street, to its junction with St James Square, c) Quay Street, for its junction with Pier Street to its junction with The Quay, and d) River Road, from its junction with St James Street, to its junction with Bridge Road, and e) The Quay, from its junction with Bridge Street to its junction with Quay Street. The closure is required for safety during D-DAY Commemoration and Beacon Lighting. The diversion will be signposted locally.
