THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

THE LEICESTER (SIMMINS CRESCENT) (TEMPORARY) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicester City Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be, for the following anticipated period of time to:

Prohibit the movement of all vehicles on Simmins Crescent between its junction with Whitteney Drive North and a point 30 metres west thereof from 8.00am on Tuesday 11th June 2024 until 6.00pm on Friday 14th June 2024, and from 8.00am on Monday 17th June 2024 until 6.00pm on Wednesday 19th June 2024.

Prohibit the movement of all vehicles on Whitteney Drive North at its junction with Simmins Crescent from 8.00am on Tuesday 11th June 2024 until 6.00pm on Friday 14th June 2024, and from 8.00am on Monday 17th June 2024 until 6.00pm on Wednesday 19th June 2024.

Diversion route: Simmins Crescent, Lawford Road, Pawley Gardens, Whitteney Drive North.

This order is necessary due to duct laying works taking place and to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public.

This Order will come into effect on the 11th June 2024 and will continue in force for up to 18 months, or until the order is no longer deemed necessary, whichever is the earlier.

Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
