Order made: To close that part of B4205 Wyld's Lane from its junction with U52326 Richmond Hill for a distance of 57 metres in an easterly direction.

Reason: Removal of sunken blocks by Severn Trent Water. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Order made: To close that part of C2225 Bishampton Road from its junction with U43210 Church Lane for a distance of 90 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: Remedial works by Severn Trent Water. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2225 Bishampton Road, C2010 Radford Road, C2010 Alcester Road, C2012 Abberton Lane, U43604 Bishampton Road and vice versa.

(U52115 Foxwell Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U52115 Foxwell Street from its junction with U52111 Cannon Street to its junction with U52112 Livingstone Street. Reason: To renew BT pole by HSC Worcester Ltd. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U52111 Cannon Street, U52112 Livingstone Street and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 3 June 2024.

(U64402 Camp Lane, Shelsley Beauchamp) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U64402 Camp Lane from its junction with C2229 Shelsley Beauchamp to its junction with B4203 Stanford Road.

Reason: Remedial works to reinstate edge of carriageway by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4203 Stanford Road, A443 Worcester Road, B4197 Martley Road, B4197 Woodbury Hill, C2229 Hillside and vice versa.

(B4205 Shaw Street (No Left Turn) Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of B4205 Shaw Street from its junction with A38 The Foregate to its junction with U53100 Farrier Street and there will be No Left Turn into Foregate Street from Shaw Street for HGVs and buses.

Reason: Safe working for scaffold erection by Alan Wilks Scaffolding Limited.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Diversion 1: B4205 The Butts, A44 All Saints Road, A44 Deansway, A44 College Street, A38 City Walls Road, A38 St Nicholas Street, A38 The Foregate. Diversion 2: HGV/Buses: Sansome Street/St Nicholas Street.

(A44 Bromyard Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of A44 Bromyard Road from its junction with U54159 Boughton Close to its junction with U54121 Broadway Grove. Reason: Bridgework maintenance by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Diversion clockwise - A44 Bromyard Road, A44 St Johns, A44 Bull Ring, A44 Tybridge Street, A44 Hylton Road, A44 New Road, A449 Bromwich Road, A449 Malvern Road, A4440 Hams Way, A4440 Grove Way, A44 Bromyard Road. (B4206 Henwick Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of B4206 Henwick Road from its junction with U54185 Ingles Drive to its junction with U54171 Rectory Gardens. Reason: Railway maintenance (level crossing) by Network Rail. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Diversion anticlockwise: B4206 Henwick Road, A44 Bull Ring, A44 Tybridge, A443 Hylton Road, B4206 Henwick Road. Diversion Clockwise: B4206 Henwick Road, A443 Hylton Road, A44 Hylton Road, A44 New Road, A44 Bull Ring, B4206 Henwick Road.

(A38 Main Road, Kempsey) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of A38 Main Road from its junction with U60024 Windmill Lane to its junction with U60003 Brookend Lane.

Reason: Puffin crossing installation and carriageway resurfacing by WCC. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(C2068 Moseley Road, Hallow) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2068 Moseley Road from its junction with C2069 Worlds end to its junction with A443 Main Road. Reason: Install/uplift kerbs by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A443 Main Road, C2256 Dark Lane, C2256 Sinton Green, C2069 Sinton Green, C2069 Worlds End and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 24 June 2024.

(B4197 Hipplecote, Martley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4197 Hipplecote from its junction with U64618 Horsham to its junction with U62206 Easinghope Lane.

Reason: Surface deterioration remedial works by Severn Trent Water. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(U54268 Swinton Lane, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of Closure 1: U54268 Swinton Lane from its junction with B4485 Bransford Road for a distance of 50 metres in a southerly direction. Closure 2: U54268 Swinton Lane from its junction with U54279 Catherine Road to its junction with U54268 Hanbury Park Road.

Reason: Replacement gas main by Cadent Gas. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Closure 1 diversion: B4485 Bransford Road, B4206 Malvern Road, U54268 Hanbury Park Road and vice versa. Closure 2 diversion: U54279 Catherine Road, U54278 Bloomfield Road, U54268 Hanbury Park Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 19 days (24 hrs). Commencing: 3 June 2024.

Establishment of A Puffin Crossing on A38 Main Road, Kempsey

NOTICE is hereby given that Worcestershire County Council propose to establish a puffin crossing to serve pedestrians in Kempsey as follows: -

The site of the Puffin crossing will be on A38 Main Road, Kempsey at a point 106.4 metres North of its junction with U60003 Brookend Lane. Opposite Kempsey Community Centre.

A plan showing these proposals may be inspected at County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours or alternatively can be downloaded at Malvern Hills Public Notice Page, or copies supplied by emailing Minor Infrastructure Projects at: MIP@ Worcestershire.gov.uk until 20 June 2024.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2023 [Prohibition of Waiting at Any Time & Restriction of Waiting Mon-Sat 8am-5pm on Weir Lane, Worcester]

On 16 May 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester: -

Weir Lane (North side): from a point 43 metres east of its junction with

from a point 43 metres east of its junction with

Bromwich Road for a distance of 74 metres in an easterly direction.

(South side): From its junction with Weir Lane (western access road)

to its junction with Weir Lane (eastern access road).

Weir Lane (western access road) (Both sides): from its junction with

Weir Lane for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.

And to restrict waiting Mon-Sat 8am-5pm

Weir Lane (South side): from a point 59 metres east of its junction with Bromwich Road for a distance of 13 metres in an easterly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 6 June 2024.
