PUBLIC NOTICE
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (U47024 Church Street, Pershore) (Temporary Closure) and The County of Worcester (Church Street, Pershore) (One-Way) Order, 1968 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U47024 Church Street from its junction with B4084 High Street to its junction with U47019 Church Row and to temporarily suspend and The County of Worcester (Church Street, Pershore) (One-Way) Order, 1968 to allow access to residents from both ends of the road. Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: B4084 High Street, U47023 Priest Lane and U47019 Church Row.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 24 June 2024 and 12 July 2024.
(U45031 School Lane, Middle Littleton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U45031 School Lane from its junction with C2114 West Side for a distance
of 150 metres in a southerly direction.
Reason: New / Replacement Gas Main by Wales & West Utilities Ltd.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2114 West Side, C2114 Arrow Lane, B4085 Cleeve Road, U45031 School Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 24 June 2024.
(U44515 Swan Lane, Evesham) (Temporary Closure) and (The County of Hereford and Worcester) (Various Road, Evesham) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1996 (Variation) Order 2010 (Temporary Suspension)
Proposed Order: To close that part of U44515 Swan Lane from its junction with U44513 Rynal Street to its junction with A4184 High Street and to temporarily suspend The County of Hereford and Worcester) (Various Road, Evesham) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1996 (Variation) Order 2010 to allow two-way traffic in order to provide access to residents and businesses for the duration of the Order. Reason: New water connection by Severn Trent Water. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A4184 High Street, U44512 Leicester Grove, U44514 Rynal Place, U44515 Swan Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 23 June 2024.
(U47019 Newlands, Pershore) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U47019 Newlands from its junction with A4104 Three Springs Road to its junction with U47022 Monks Close. Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A4104 Three Springs Road, B4084 Worcester Road, B4084 High Street, U47023 Priest Lane, U47023 Lower Priest Lane, U47019 Church Row and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 23 June 2024 and 9 July 2024.
(A4184 Cheltenham Road & C2275 Davies Road, Evesham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1: A4184 To close that part of Cheltenham Road from its junction with U44668 Thistledown to its junction with U44600 Fairfield Road. Closure 2: C2275 Davies Road from its junction with A4184 Cheltenham Road for a distance of 5 metres in an easterly direction.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Diversion for Closure 1: A4184 Cheltenham Road - A4184 Cheltenham Road (part),
A4184 Cheltenham Road (part), A4184 Abbey Road, A4184 High Street, A4184 Greenhill,
A4184 Twyford Bank, A44 Evesham Bypass, A46 Evesham Bypass, A4184 Cheltenham Road and vice versa.
Diversion for Closure 2: C2275 Davies Road - C2275 Davies Road (part), C2284 The Link, A46 Evesham Bypass, A4184 Cheltenham Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 23 June 2024 and 7 July 2024.
(C2114 Dorsington Road, Pebworth) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2114 Dorsington Road from a distance of 1730 metres north of its junction
with C2114 Pebworth Road for a distance of 400 metres to Warwickshire County boundary.
Reason: Safe access for overhead work for new customer connection by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2114 Dorsington Road, C2114 Back Lane, C2049 Long Marston Road into Warwickshire and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 20 June 2024.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (District of Wychavon - Non-Urban Areas) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2024 [Prohibition of Waiting on China Corner, Honeybourne]
On 16 May 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following sides and lengths of road in Honeybourne:- China Corner: Both sides: From a point 9 metres southeast of its junction with High Street until the termination of the highway.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 6 June 2024. The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
(Various Roads, Upper Moor) (40 mph Speed Limit) Order 2000 (Revocation) and (Various Roads, Upper Moor) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 2024
Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to update the 40 mph speed limit on the following lengths of roads in the Parishes of Hill & Moor and Wyre Piddle in the district of Wychavon:
A44 - From its junction with U47231 Evesham Road to a point 125 metres east of its junction with U47205 Cherry Orchard Road.
C2012 Throckmorton Road - From its junction with A44 for a distance of 135 metres in a northerly direction. U47231 Evesham Road - From its junction with A44 for a distance of 595 metres in a westerly direction. U47205 Cherry Orchard Road - From its junction with A44 for a distance of 12 metres in a southerly direction. There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.
