(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out ("the Works"), Westmorland and Furness Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit all traffic (i.e. vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists), from proceeding along that section of the U5669 Yew Tree Road, Grange-over-Sands, from its junction with the B5277 (Kents Bank Row), extending in a south easterly direction for approx. 75m.
A suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available via the unrestricted sections of Yew Tree Road, Cart Lane and Kents Bank Row.

The Order will come into operation on 5th June 2024 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 16 days and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
