PUBLIC NOTICE THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL

 OXLEY MOOR ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Oxley Moor Road in both directions from Green Lane to STW treatment plant. 

The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 3 June 2024 until 10 June 2024. The diversion route is: Aldersley Road, Lower Street, Tettenhall Road, Chapel Ash, Ring Road, Stafford Street, Stafford Road and vice versa. The Order is required to facilitate gas mains replacement by Cadent.
