C10k, Aberdeenshire - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?

C10K – TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (C10k – 06.06.24) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2024” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984. The order will operate from 06.06.24 for 7 days and will prohibit any person from driving on the C10k from the junction with the A937 opposite South Barns Cottage to Hospital Shields Farm, St Cyrus. Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety due to a new telecoms duct being installed. An alternative route is available via the A937, C18K, A92, C10k and vice versa.
