What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 - KIRKLEES COUNCIL
(BUTTERLEY LANE CUL-DE-SAC, NEW MILL, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Butterley Lane cul-de-sac including access to 25-61, New Mill from a point outside house no. 25 to a point outside outside house no. 39 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
There is no alternative route available. Access maintained for residents and Emergency Service Vehicles only.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 17th June 2024 and remain in force until 21st June 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(WATER STREET, LOCKWOOD, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Water Street, Lockwood from its junction with Albert Street to a point at side of property no. 231 Lockwood Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. There is no alternative diversionary route available. Access maintained for residents and Emergency Service Vehicles only.
It is intended that the closure will operate on Tuesday, 18th June 2024 between 09:30 - 15:30 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(HALL ING LANE, HONLEY, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that short length of Hall Ing Lane, Honley at a point outside property no. 132A PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Hall Ing Road, Marsh Hall Lane, The Village, Thurstonland Bank Road, New Mill Road, Gynn Lane, Hall Ing Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday, 18th June 2024 and remain in force until 20th June 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(MOOR LANE, NETHERTON, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Netherton:- Road Closure Moor Lane - from its junction with Hawkroyd Bank Road to its junction with Coppice Drive Point Closures The following lengths of road at their junction with Moor Lane:- Beaumont Street, Crescent Road, Delph Lane, Netherton Moor Road, Moor Cottage Close, Marten Drive, Bourn View Road. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Hawkroyd Bank Road, Falconers Ride, Netherton Moor Road, Coppice Drive and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday, 18th June 2024 and remain in force until 5th July 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(BROOK HOUSE LANE, SHELLEY, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Brook House Lane, Shelley from a point outside property no. 1 Long Moor Lane to a point outside property no. 2 Brook House Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Long Moor Lane, Barncliffe Hill, Coal Pit Lane, Shelley Woodhouse Lane, Huddersfield Road, Near Bank, Brook House Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 17th June 2024 and remain in force until 19th June 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(HANSON LANE/BEAUMONT PARK ROAD/BUTTERNAB ROAD, BEAUMONT PARK, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Beaumont Park:- Hanson Lane - from its junction with Meltham Road to its junction with Beaumont Park Road Beaumont Park Road - from its junction with Hanson Lane to its junction with Butternab Road Butternab Road - from its junction with Beaumont Park Road to its junction with Meltham Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday, 18th June 2024 and remain in force until 5th July 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(WHEATLEY HILL LANE, CLAYTON WEST, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Wheatley Hill Lane, Clayton West from its junction with Upper Common Lane to a point outside Wheatley Hill Farm PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Wheatley Hill Lane, Hollin House Lane, Bank End Lane, High Street, Church Lane, Chapel Hill, Spring Grove, Barnsley Road, Wakefield Road, Cuttlehurst and vice vera.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday, 19th June 2024 and remain in force until 20th June 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(PARK LANE, EMLEY, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Park Lane, Emley from a point outside Leys Farm to a point outside Dovecote Barn PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Park Lane, Leys Lane, Chapel Lane, Upper Lane, Ash Lane, Woodhouse Lane, Wakefield Road, Busker Lane, Commercial Road, Station Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 3rd June 2024 and remain in force until 7th June 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(NORRIDGE BOTTOM, HOLMFIRTH)(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Norridge Bottom, Holmfirth from a point outside property no. 9 to a point to rear of 54 Huddersfield Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. There is no alternative diversionary route available. Access maintained for residents and Emergency Service Vehicles only. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Modd Lane, Holmfirth from its junction with Greenfield Road to its junction with Woodhead Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Greenfield Road, Woodhead Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 3rd June 2024 and remain in force until 14th June 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(GREENFIELD AVENUE, OAKES, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the whole length of Greenfield Avenue, Oakes, Huddersfield PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. There is no alternative diversionary route available. Access maintained for residents and Emergency Service Vehicles only. (OCCUPATION ROAD, LINDLEY, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Occupation Road, Lindley from its junction with Savile Road to its junction with Acre Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Thornhill Road, New Hey Road, Acre Street and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 3rd June 2024 and remain in force until 14th June 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(MOORLANDS CRESCENT, MOUNT, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the whole length of Moorlands Crescent, Mount from its junctions with Moorlands Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Moorlands Road and vice versa. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Broomfield Road, Marsh from its junction with Westbourne Road to its junction with Link Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Link Road, Luck Lane, Reed Street, Westbourne Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday, 5th June 2024 and remain in force until 14th June 2024 (although it can
remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(SMITHS AVENUE, MARSH, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Smiths Avenue, Marsh from its junction with Carr Street to its junction with New Hey Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Carr Street, Wellfield Road, New Hey Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday, 5th June 2024 and remain in force until 14th June 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
