Bradford, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Construction Works

What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL A650 SIR FRED HOYLE WAY, BINGLEY AND A650 AIRE VALLEY ROAD, KEIGHLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of construction works and in order to maintain the safety of road users is satisfied vehicles on A650 Sir Fred Hoyle Way, Bingley and A650 Aire Valley Road, Keighley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to implement a 40mph speed limit on the following lengths of road:-

i: A650 Sir Fred Hoyle Way, Bingley for a distance of4320 metres southeast from the centre of the roundabout forming its junction with the A650 Aire Valley Road to the centre of the roundabout forming its junction with B6265 Bradford Road

ii. A650 Aire Valley Road, Keighley for a distance of 2560 metres southeast from the centre of the roundabout forming its junction with Aireworth Road to the centre of the roundabout forming its junction with the B6265

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 10th June 2024 and remain in force until 17:00 hours on the 9th December 2024 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
