Hospital Road, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Water Works

What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL HOSPITAL ROAD, RIDDLESDEN, KEIGHLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Hospital Road, Riddlesden, Keighley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Hospital Road from its junction with Granby Lane to a point outside No.7 Hospital Road.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Hospital Road (unaffected section), Southlands Avenue, Can" Lane, Banks Lane, Granby Lane and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 09:30 hours on the 10th June 2024 and remain in force until 19:00 hours on the 13th June 2024 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
