Tollerton Lane - Prohibition of Driving to Carry Out Gas Connection Works

What is happening?

THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (TOLLERTON LANE, TOLLERTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2024 (R24-110)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council has made an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Tollerton in the Borough of Rushcliffe.

The effects of the Order will be:

1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of road:

a. Tollerton Lane - from its junction with Little Lane in a south westerly direction for a distance of 150 metres.

2. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.

3. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.

IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows: From 08:00 hours on Monday 3rd June 2024 Until 17:00 hours on Friday 7th June 2024

AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be: Cotgrave Lane - A606 Melton Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into force on Monday 3rd June 2024 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).
