Tarset, Temporary Road Closure Due To Resurfacing Works
What is happening?
NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) C200 TARSET BRIDGE TO STANNERSBURN TARSET (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C200 Tarset Bridge To Stannersburn from its junction with the U5096 heading in a south easterly direction for a length of 3753 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 20th June 2024 until the 20th August 2024. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 20th June 2024 until the 28th June 2024 between the hours of 07:30 until 18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 20th August 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C200, A68, B6320, C199 and vice-versa. Enquiries should be made to Northumberland County Council's Contact Centre 0345 600 6400 or at https://one.network (enter the road number and road name). - Ref:138887505
The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out carriageway patching and resurfacing. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
