THE HAMPSHIRE (VARIOUS ROADS FARNBOROUGH AND ALDERSHOT) (20, 30, 40, 50 AND 60 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council made the above-mentioned Order on Tuesday 21st May 2024, in exercise of its powers and duties under the relevant Sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Act and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.

GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDER: To designate Alison's Road and Mandora Road as Restricted Roads for the purposes of Section 81 of the Act for the following lengths:

(xiii) Alison's Road between its junction with the A325 slip road and its junction with Thornhill Road an approximate distance of 1375 metres.

(xiv) Mandora Road between its junction with Alison's Road and a point 15 metres south thereof.

This will revoke and reinstate The Hampshire (Various Roads Farnborough and Aldershot) (Restricted Road and 20, 30, 40, 50 And 60 Miles Per Hour Speed Limit) Order 2019 order save for the removal of the designation of restricted roads. This will bring it into line with Current policy

DATE OF OPERATION: The order will come into force on Monday 3rd June 2024.
