What is happening?

BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL (A3095 MAIDENHEAD ROAD, WINKFIELD) (SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024

Bracknell Forest Borough Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 82(2), 84(1) and 84(2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (The Act').

Effects of the Order

The effects of the Order are:-

1. To introduce the new lengths of speed limits as detailed in Schedules 1

2. To revoke the existing lengths of speed limits as detailed in Schedule 2.

Order to be Consolidated into this Order and revoked:

Bracknell Forest Borough Council (A3095 Maidenhead Road, Winkfield) (50MPH Speed Limit) Order 2020.

All existing speed limits contained in the above Order but not mentioned in the Schedules will remain in force and be consolidated into this Traffic Regulation Order.

Objections:

Objections to the proposals, together with the grounds upon which they are made, should be sent in writing to Neil Mathews, Assistant Director -Highways & Transport, Bracknell Forest Council, Time Square, Market Street, Bracknell, Berkshire RG12 1JD or via e-mail highways.transport@bracknell-forest.gov.uk to be received by him no later than the 21st June 2024.

SCHEDULE 1 - 40mph Speed Limit

A3095 Maidenhead Road From a point 95 metres north of its junction with Goughs Barn Lane to a point 100 metres south of its junction with Tickleback Row.

SCHEDULE 2 - Removal of 50mph Speed Limit

A3095 Maidenhead Road From a point 95 metres north of its junction with Goughs Barn Lane to a point 100 metres south of its junction with Tickleback Row.

All distances are approximate and, where applicable, are taken from the centre of the stated junctions.
