What is happening?

ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL

BANFF AND BUCHAN – TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT

“The Aberdeenshire Council (Banff and Buchan SD – 03.06.24) (Temporary Traffic Management) Order, 2024” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.

A rolling programme of surface dressing works at a number of sites will be carried out from 03.06.24 for 17 weeks. The order will introduce a temporary closure at the undernoted locations during surface dressing application, with a 20mph speed limit (with 40mph transitional zone as applicable) during preparation works and post application aftercare, lining and studding works. It is not possible to provide exact dates for each site, however restrictions will only be in force when signs indicative of the closure/speed limit are

displayed at the location.
