What is happening?
SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U5063 HALL ROAD, LOWESTOFT
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U5063 Hall Road, Lowestoft from Gilpin Road to Elmhurst Avenue to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Hall Road, Christmas Lane, Church Lane, Sands Lane, the 81375, Hall Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 28/05/2024 - 29/05/2024 from 9am - 4.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Suffolk Highways. Tel: 0345 606 6171.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C969 INGATE AND U1501 ST ANNES ROAD, BECCLES
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C969 lngate, Beccles from the railway line for 10 metres eastbound and 10 metres westbound and the U1501 St Annes Road, Beccles from the junction with lngate for 20 metres southbound to facilitate the replacement of covers in the carriageway. Other co ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion routes will be:
• for the C969 lngate: Peddars Lane, London Road, Hungate, Station Road, George Westwood Way, the A146 and vice versa
• for the U1501 St Annes Road: Rigbourne Hill, Castle Hill, Ellough Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 28/05/2024 - 30/05/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE U4118 CROWN STREET WEST, LOWESTOFT
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U4118 Crown Street West, Lowestoft from the junction with Boston Road for 20 metres eastbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Dover Street, Park Road, St Margarets Plain, Church Road, Boston Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 05/06/2024 - 07/06/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
