What is happening?

(Southbourne: Public Footpath No. 202)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2023
NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by West Sussex County Council under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 which came into force on 2 December 2023, with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport will now continue in force until 2 December 2024 or until the works are completed. The Order is necessary to protect public safety due to a damaged sluice gate.
The effect of the Order remains unchanged and is to prohibit any person from proceeding along the length of Public Footpath No. 202 from its northern end at Prinsted Point (476548 104152), southwards to the parish border with West Thorney (476705 104686), a distance of approximately 490 metres.
Unfortunately there is no alternative route available using the Public Rights of Way network.

(Road Maintenance Programme)
(Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that West Sussex County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close, temporarily prohibit waiting at any time and temporarily introduce 20 mph speed limits on the following roads in Arun District throughout their entire lengths unless otherwise stated:
ALDWICK: Rose Green Road, from Grosvenor Road to Rossalyn Close, Rossalyn Close, Osborne Way. BOGNOR REGIS: Annandale Avenue, Beatty Road, Clifton Road, Essex Road, Fletcher Way, Gravits Lane, Havelock Road, Highland Avenue, Linden Road, Marshall Avenue, Mons Avenue, Nyewood Lane, Pevensey Road, Pinewood Gardens.
These restrictions are needed to allow the 2024 road maintenance programme to be carried out in safety. Each of the affected roads are expected to be closed for up to three days and may be closed in part. Dates for works will be confirmed in advance locally nearer the time they are carried out.
The Order will come into effect on 3 June 2024 and remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the works programme is completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.
