A46 Trunk Road - Prohibition Of Traffic For Resurfacing Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)(A)
THE A46 TRUNK ROAD (NEAR RATCLIFFE ON THE WREAKE, LEICESTERSHIRE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company No. 9346363) has made an order on the A46 Trunk Road, near Ratcliffe on the Wreake, in the County of Leicestershire, to allow local authority resurfacing works to be carried out nearby.
The effect of the Order will be to close –
(a) the exit and entry link roads leading from and to the northbound carriageway of the A46 to and from the junction with Ratcliffe Road; and
(b) the exit and entry link roads leading from and to the southbound carriageway of the A46 to and from the junction with Broome Lane, near Ratcliffe on the Wreake.
The work will be carried out over one night between 20:00 hours and 06:00 hours and is expected to start on Friday 7 June 2024. The Order will come into force on 31 May 2024.
Diversion routes via alternative junctions of the A46 will be signed. Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes, and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closures.
