Road From Twyford Road to Buckford Lane - Road Closure to Facilitate Tree Cutting Works
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
UNNAMED ROAD FROM TWYFORD ROAD TO BUCKFORD LANE, STENSON
WHEN: 17 June 2024 (09:00 to 15:00)
WHERE: Unnamed Road from Twyford Road to Buckford Lane, Stenson from a point approx. 880m south east of its Jct. with Stenson Road, for an approx. distance of 340m.
REASON: To facilitate tree cutting works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE 1: Buckford Ln, Heath Ln, Willington Rd, Main St, Bakeacre Ln, Moorway Ln, Blagreaves Ln, Stenson Rd, Unnamed Road from Twyford Road to Buckford Lane and vice versa.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE 2: Buckford Ln, Heath Ln, Willington Rd, Findern Ln, A5132 Twyford Rd, Unnamed Road from Twyford Road to Buckford Lane and vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
