London Borough of Sutton Public Notices

LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton propose to make the following Order The Sutton (Parking, Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. * ) Order 202* under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984', as amended -

2. The general effect of the Order would be to:-

(a) introduce waiting restrictions operating 'at any time' (double yellow lines) in

  • Ansell Grove adjacent to No. 134 Culvers Avenue
  • Mill Green Road outside Greenside Views, Block B and Block E and outside No. 10.

(b) Orchard Avenue provide free footway parking bays outside (odds Nos only) Nos. 1 to 5, 11, 19 to 21, (even Nos only) 30 to 32, 34, 36 and 42 to 44.

3. Copies of the proposed Order, of the Council's Statement of Reason for proposing to make the Order and plans showing the locations and the effects of the proposals may be inspected at the Council's Civic Offices, St Nicholas Way, Sutton, SM1 1EA. Copies can also be obtained by calling 020 8770 5000.

4. If you would like to make comments on the proposed Order you can do so by filling in an on-line consultation response form which can be found on our web pages under https://www.sutton.gov.uk/w/parking-review Formal Consultation Hackbridge, MapSutt1155. Alternatively please send them to The Traffic Order Team, Highways and Transport, Kingston & Sutton Shared Environment Service, London Borough of Sutton, Civic Offices, St Nicholas Way, Sutton, SM1 1EA by 13 June 2024 please quote the following reference MapSutt1155.

5. NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of London Borough of Sutton, as part of this proposal, and by the powers conferred under section 15 of the Greater London Council (General Powers) Act 1974 is resolving providing lengths of uncontrolled footway parking in Orchard Avenue outside (odd Nos Only) Nos. 1 to 5, 11,19 to 21, (even Nos only) 30 to 34, 36 and 42 to 44.
