Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(U95207 Broadheath, Hanley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U95207 Broadheath from its junction with B4204 Broadheath to its junction with U95404 Bell Lane.

Reason: Boundary box and meter installation by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U95404 Bell Lane, B4204 Broadheath and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 28 May 2024.

(B4503 Newtown Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of B4503 Newtown Road from its junction with U63526 Hornyold Avenue to its junction with U63535 Nursery Road.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Light vehicle diversion: B4503 Newtown Road (part), U63507 Somers Park Avenue,

C2205 Howsell Road, A449 Worcester Road, B4503 Newtown Road and vice versa.

HGV diversion: B4503 Newtown Road, B4503 Leigh Sinton Road, B4503 Upper Interfields, B4503 Lower Interfields, A4103 Leigh Sinton, A4103 Bransford, A4440 Grove Way, A4440 Hams Way, A449 The Village, A449 Malvern Road, A449 Worcester Road, B4503 Newtown Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 28 May 2024 and 31 May 2024.

(A438 Hollybush, Castlemorton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of A438 Hollybush from its junction with B4208 Coombe Green for a distance of 2,240 metres in a westerly direction until the boundary with Herefordshire.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4208 Coombe Green, B4208 Castlemorton, B4208 Gloucester Road, A4104 Marlbank Road, A4104 Little Malvern, A449 Wells Road (into Herefordshire) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 10 days between 30 May 2024 and 12 June 2024.

(U63550 De Walden Road, West Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U63550 De Walden Road from its junction with U63551 Park Road to its junction with B4232 West Malvern Road.

Reason: Utility Work by National Grid.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4232 West Malvern Road, U63551 Park Road, U63550 De Walden Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 15 days (24hrs). Commencing: 28 May 2024.

(C2064 Stitchins Hill, Leigh) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of C2064 Stitchins Hill from its junction with C2245 Hopton Lane for a distance

of 225 metres in a south-westerly direction.

Reason: New BT pole and transfer cables by HSC Worcester Ltd.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2250 Sandlin, C2250 Cole Green, C2227 Sherridge Road, C2064 Smith End Green, C2064

Ashfields, C2064 Stitchins Hill and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 31 May 2024.

(B4232 West Malvern Road, West Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of B4232 West Malvern Road from its junction with C2207 Old Road for a distance of 50 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4232 West Malvern Road into Herefordshire, B4218 Wyche Road, A449 Wells Road, A449 Worcester Road, B4232 North Malvern Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 28 May 2024.

(B4503 Leigh Sinton Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of B4503 Leigh Sinton Road from its junction with U63500 Bradley Drive to its junction with U63460 Richards Close.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Light vehicle diversion: B4503 Leigh Sinton Road (part), C2205 Tanhouse Lane, C2205 Upper Howsell Road, U63507 Somers Park Avenue, B4503 Leigh Sinton Road and vice versa.

HGV diversion: B4503 Leigh Sinton Road, B4503 Upper Interfields, B4503 Lower Interfields, B4503 Malvern Road, A4103 Leigh Sinton, A4103 Bransford, A4440 Grove Way, A4440 Hams Way, A449 The Village, A449 Malvern Road, A449 Worcester Road, B4503 Newtown Road, B4503 Leigh Sinton Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 28 May 2024 and 7 June 2024.

(B4208 Pendock) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4208 Pendock from its junction with C2219 Pendock Cross to its junction with U61004 Eldersfield.

Reason: Kerb raising by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4208 Gadfield Elm, B4208 Malvern Road into Gloucestershire, B4211 Corse Lawn, A438 Long Green, A438 Upper Pendock, A438 Berrow, B4208 Berrow, B4208 Pendock and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 20 June 2024.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Malvern Hills District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2024 [Prohibition of Waiting on Lansdowne Road/ Highfield Road, Malvern]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following sides and lengths of roads in Malvern:-

Lansdowne Road (west side) - From its junction with Highfield Road for a distance of 5m in a northerly

direction and 9m in a southerly direction.

Highfield Road (north side) - From its junction with Lansdowne Road for a distance of 10m in a westerly

direction.

Highfield Road (south side) - From its junction with Lansdowne Road for a distance of 10m in a westerly direction.

Lansdowne Road (east side) - From its junction with Highfield Road (private road section) for a distance of 5m in a northerly direction and 5m in a southerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
