TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH THORLEY 1 & THORLEY 3
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has extended, with consent of the Secretary of State, the Order which was made under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. To prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Thorley 1 & Thorley 3, heading west from newly constucted Spine Road, for an approximate distance of 890 & 220 metres. Alternative route: via newly constructed road, Bishop’s Stortford 04
and Obrey Way The purpose of the Order is to enable development works to take place. The section of Footpath will continue to be closed for up to 18 months until 30/11/2025 or completion of the works whichever is sooner.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS
IN VARIOUS ROADS IN BISHOPS STORTFORD, MUCH HADHAM AND THORLEY) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of A1184 St James Way, Bishops Stortford from its junction with the Mercers Avenue roundabout south eastwards to its junction with the Obrey Way roundabout, a distance of approximately 1541m. An alternative route will be via A1184 (St James Way/Bishops Park Way), A120 (Hadham Road/Little Hadham Bypass/Standon Road/ Stortford Road/Kents Lane/Standon Hill), A10 (Wadesmill Bypass/ unnamed road/Amwell Link Road/A414 Eastwick Road/Fifth Avenue/ Edinburgh Way) and A1184 (Cambridge Road/Harlow Road/Bonks Hill/ London Road/ Cambridge Road/London Road/St James Way).
2. the Moor Hall Lane East roundabout, Bishops Stortford from its junction with A1184 St James Way clockwise for its entire length. An alternative route will be via A1184 (St James Way/Bishops Park Way), A120 (Hadham Road/Little Hadham Bypass/Standon Road/ Stortford Road/Kents Lane/Standon Hill), A10 (Wadesmill Bypass/ unnamed road/Amwell Link Road/A414 Eastwick Road/Fifth Avenue/ Edinburgh Way) and A1184 (Cambridge Road/Harlow Road/Bonks Hill/ London Road/ Cambridge Road/London Road/St James Way).
3. that length of Butlers Hall Lane, Much Hadham/Thorley from its junction with the Moor Hall Lane East roundabout north westwards for a distance of approximately 211m. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
4. that length of Moor Hall Lane East, Bishops Stortford from its junction with the A1184 St James Way roundabout north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with The Shearers, a distance of approximately 105m. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
5. that length of Moor Hall Lane West, Thorley from its junction with the Moor Hall Lane East roundabout southwards, south eastwards, south westwards, north westwards, south westwards and south eastwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the
works.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 17 June 2024 for a

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN THE STREET, LITTLE HORMEAD/FURNEUX PELHAM) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of The Street, Little Hormead/Furneux Pelham from its junction with Worsted Lane south eastwards, southwards, south eastwards, north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with The Causeway, a distance of approximately 4051m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Worsted Lane, B1368 (unnamed road/ Dassels Hill/ Dassels/Hay Street/Green End), Ford Street, The Street, Pelham Road, Braughing Road, Patient End and The Causeway. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 17 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months.
