CROYDON COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 THERAPIA LANE. CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate new gas service installation works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Therapia Lane, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Therapia Lane will be closed outside No.28.

3. Whilst the closure is in place, the alternative route for traffic will be via Therapia Lane, Stonecroft Way, Alfriston Way and vice versa.

4. The Order will come into operation on 10 June 2024 and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within 10 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS WATER TOWER HILL. CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate ducting works on behalf of Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic movements in Water Tower Hill, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place the carriageway and south-eastern footway of Water Tower Hill will be closed between its junction with Coombe Road and the north-eastern boundary of Wren Court, No. 85 Coombe Road.

3. During the closure, pedestrians will be diverted to a walkway in the carriageway.

4. The Order will come into operation on 10 June 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in three days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any person or vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS WOODPLACE LANE. COULSDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate Openreach network upgrade works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular movements in Woodplace Lane, Coulsdon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Woodplace Lane will be closed between its junction with Pretty Lane and the common boundary of Nos. 63 and 65 Woodplace Lane.

3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for traffic will be via Downs Road, Fairdene Road, Reddown Road, Marlpit Lane, Brighton Road, Netherne Drive, Rookery Mead, Bowen Way, Broadwood Road, Park Lane and vice versa.

4. The Order will come into operation on 10 June 2024, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out in five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(b) Any vehicle involved in the said works.

(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
