What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF WALTHAM FOREST

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AINSLIE WOOD ROAD AND ADJOINING ROADS AND OTHER ROADS IN THE VICINITY (E4 REGION) - INSTALLATION OF SINGLE YELLOW LINES AND EXTENSION AND INSTALLATION OF DOUBLE YELLOW

LINES WAITING RESTRICTIONS (T29(24))

Note: This notice is about the provision of new or extended waiting restrictions in strategic locations in the Ainslie Wood Road E4 region. All single yellow lines (SYL) in this notice are proposed to operate 'Mondays to Fridays, between 8am and 6pm, and double

yellow lines (DYL) to operate "at any time")

The Waltham Forest (Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No. *) Order 20* The Waltham Forest (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. *) Order 20*

1. NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended

2. The general effect of the Orders will be in:

(a) Ainslie Wood Road E4 (AWR) (north side)

(i) Extend the double yellow lines "at any time" waiting restrictions (DYL) situated at its junction with Chingford Mount Road (CMR) eastwards to a point in line with the west facing wall of No. 12C CMR which will also reduce the single yellow line waiting restrictions (SYL) outside the flank wall (fw) of No. 12C CMR;

(ii) between the fw of No. 27 AWR and the western boundary of No. 31 AWR SYL;

(iii) at its junction with Oakfield extend the DYL situated either side of that junction so that the overall length will be between the common boundary (cb) of Nos. 53/55, and a point 9 metres (m) east of the eastern kerb line of Oakfield;

(iv) at its junction with Ainslie Wood Gardens extend the DYL on the west-side of the junction to a point opposite the cb of Nos. 114 and 116 AWR, and on the east-side of the junction up to the cb of Nos. 99/1C1 AWR;

(v) between a point outside the cb of Nos. 111/113 AWR and a point 6.4m west of the cb of Nos. 113/115 AWR provide a SYL

(vi) between a point outside the cb of Nos. 125/127 AWR and a point 12m westward provide a SYL;

(vii) between a point 6m west and a point 6 metres east (a total of 12 metres) of the cb of Nos. 135/137 AWR provide a SYL; and

(viii) extend the DYL situated at its junction with Underwood Road by 3m (south side)

(ix) extend the DYL situated at its junction with CMR so its overal length is 22m in length;

(x) between a point outside the cb of Nos. 34/36 AWR and a point 12m westward provide a SYL;

(xi) at its junction with Ainslie Wood Crescent extend the DYL on the west-side of the junction up to the cb of Nos. 78/8C AWR and on the east-side of the junction to a point opposite the cb of Nos. 69/71 AWR;

(xii) at its junction with Rolls Park Road extend the DYL on the west-side of the junction by 3m, and on the east-side of the junction up to the cb of Nos. 116/118 AWR;

(xiii) between a point outside the eastern boundary of No. 134 AWR and point opposite the cb of Nos. 113/115 aWr provide a SYL

(xiv) amend the No Stopping 'School Keep Clear' markings outside Ainslie Wood Primary School so that its overall length is between a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 113/115 AWR and a point C.7m west of the cb of Nos. 123/125 AWR

(xv) between a point C.7m west of the cb of Nos. 123/125 AWR and a point 13.2m west of its junction with Underwood Road provide a SYL; and

(xvi) provide 13.2m of DYL from its junction with Underwood Road

(b) Oakfield E4 (OF) - both sides - extend both DYL situated at its junction with AWR northward to the cb of Nos. 2/4 OF.

(c) Ainslie Wood Gardens E4 - both sides - extend both DYL situated at its junction with AWR northward so that the length of each DYL is 1Cm in length from the said junction.

(d) Lynton Road E4 (LY) - both sides - extend both DYL situated at its junction with AWR northward to a point outside the west facing boundary of No. 2 LY.

(e) Underwood Road E4 (UDR) -(west side)

i) extend the DYL adjoining the northern kerb line of AWR northward up to the cb of Nos. 69/71 UDR; and

ii) provide DYL from the southern kerb line of AWR southward for a distance of 9.5m (east side)

iii) from its junction with Inks Green provide DYL between a point 2.9m south of the cb of Nos. 69/71 UDR and a point 4.6 m north of the cb of Nos. 75/55 UDR.

(f) Inks Green - both sides - provide DYL between its junction with UDR and the west facing wall of No. 73 UDR.

"Note - The operational hours of all single yellow line waiting restricttons (SYL) mentioned in this notice will be Mondays-Fridays, 8am-6pm.

3. Copies of the Orders and the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and plans showing the locations and effect of the Orders can be inspected on request by either emailing trafflc.scheme@walthamforest.gov.uk or visiting (*by appointment) the Highways and Traffic Management office, Low Hall. Argall Avenue E1C 7AS during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive; or alternatively documents can be viewed online at: www.walthamforest.gov.uk/conteirt/road-traffic-schemes-and-consultations

4. Any person desiring to object to the proposals or to make any other representation should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof or of their representation to; Traffic Orders, Highways and Traffic Management, Low Hall, Argall Avenue, London, E10 7AS, or by emailing: traffic.scheme@walthamforest.gov.uk quoting scheme reference - T29(24) - Ainslie Wood region provision of waiting restrictions by the end of a period of 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
