What is happening?

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC INCLUDING PEDESTRIANS, EQUESTRIANS & NON-MOTORISED TRAFFIC ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is expected that the Order will come into force on 18/06/2024 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 4 days. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow J D Groundworks Ltd & their appointed contractors to undertake associated development works and infrastructure improvement works.

The proposed diversion route will be via: Sheepy Rd, Main Rd, Mill Ln, Wellsborough Rd, A444 Burton Rd, A444 Twycross Rd, A444 Atherstone Rd, Sheepy; A444 Atherstone Rd, Witherley; A5 From J B4111/B4116 Roundabout To J A444 Including Dualling, A5 J B4111/B4116 Roundabout, A5 From J B4111/B4116 Roundabout To J B4116 South East of Whittington NW, North Warwickshire; Holly Ln, Old Holly Ln, Atherstone Warwickshire & vice versa.

TEMPORARY IMPLEMENTATION OF RIGHT TURN ONLY ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Cityfibre and their contractors to undertake installation of new apparatus and other associated works and Leicestershire County Council and their contractors to carry out various highway maintenance works. The proposed diversion routes will be signed on site. Any existing restrictions imposed on those lengths of roads as specified in Schedule 2, 3. 4 & 5 to this Order are hereby temporarily suspended for the duration of the works.

Sketchley Ln, Lutterworth Rd & New Rd for their entire lengths. Grove Rd between the junction of Grove Park & the junction of Church St – Burbage.

SCHEDULE 2
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & LOADING AT ANY TIME

Sketchley Ln, Windsor St, Hinckley Rd, Church St, New Rd, Lutterworth Rd, Strutt Rd, Grove Rd & Windsor Ct for their entire lengths on both sides of the carriageway. Freemans Ln between the junction of Windsor St to property No. 19 on both sides of the carriageway – Burbage.

TEMPORARY SUSUPENSION OF PARKING BAYS

Windsor St between the junction of Church St & the junction of Salem Rd. New Rd for its entire length on both sides of the carriageway – Burbage.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 06/06/2024 and have a maximum duration of 3 months.

The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 6 days. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow STW & their contractors to undertake the installation of new apparatus. The proposed diversion route will be via: Station Rd, Stoke Golding; Upton Ln, Higham Fields Ln, Higham on the Hill & vice versa.

Any existing waiting & loading restrictions imposed on those lengths of roads as specified in Schedule 2 to this Order are hereby temporarily suspended for the duration of the works.

The Order will come into force on 03/06/2024 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 4 weeks.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow STW & their contractors to undertake remedial works to the highway. The proposed diversion route will be via: Church St, Hinckley Rd, Burbage Rd, Sapcote Rd, Aston Flamville Rd – Burbage; Aston Ln, Hinckley Rd, Lychgate Ln – Aston Flamville & vice versa. Any existing waiting restrictions imposed on those lengths of roads as specified in Schedule 2 to this Order are hereby temporarily suspended for the duration of the works.

The Order will come into force on 02/06/2024 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 days. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow STW & their contractors to undertake remedial works within the highway. The proposed diversion route will be via: Stapleton Ln, Ashby Rd, Hinckley Rd, Mill St, Barwell & vice versa.
