A516 Etwall Road - Road Closure To Facilitate Carriageway Resurfacing And Associated Works
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
A516 ETWALL ROAD, MICKLEOVER
WHEN: 09 June to 30 September 2024 (For no more than 10 individual days)
WHERE: A516 Etwall Road, Mickleover from a point approx. 270m east of Heage Lane for an approx. distance of 1.9km.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing and associated works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A516 Etwall Bypass, A38, A50, A516 Etwall Bypass and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
