TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U1631 BARNABY GREEN AND YORK ROAD, SOUTHWOLD

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U1631 Barnaby Green, Southwold from High Street to York Road and the U1631 York Road, Southwold from Barnaby Green to Godyll Road to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A1095, Marketplace, Queen Street, Lome Road, Godyll Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 24/05/2024 from 9am - 4.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U5083 SWALLOW ROAD AND THE U5079 GREENFINCH AVENUE, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads in the following phases

1. the U5083 Swallow Road, Ipswich from Merlin Road for 60 metres northbound

2. the U5083 Swallow Road, Ipswich from Peewit Road for 60 metres eastbound

3. the U5079 Greenfinch Avenue, Ipswich from Swallow Road to Merlin Road.

This is to facilitate the installation of high voltage cables. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

1. Merlin Road, Greenfinch Avenue and vice versa

2. Merlin Road, Greenfinch Avenue and vice versa

3. Merlin Road, Swallow Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 03/06/2024 - 12/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U2051 REYNOLDS ROAD,

U2052 SHANNON ROAD, U2064 TURNER ROAD, U2049 ROMNEY ROAD

AND U2062 COTMAN ROAD, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads in the following phases

1. • the U2051 Reynolds Road, Ipswich from Landseer Road to Shannon Road

    • the U2052 Shannon Road, Ipswich from Reynolds Road to Turner Road

2. • the U2064 Turner Road, Ipswich from Romney Road to Frampton Road

    • the U2049 Romney Road, Ipswich from Turner Road to Chesapeake Road

3. • the U2062 Cotman Road, Ipswich from Clapgate Lane to Reynolds Road.

This is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

1. Landseer Road, Clapgate Lane, Turner Road and vice versa.

2. Chesapeake Road, Reynolds Road, Reynolds Avenue, Turner Road and vice versa.

3. Reynolds Road, Landseer Road, Clapgate Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from:

1. 03/06/2024 – 06/06/2024 from 7pm - 5am

2. 06/06/2024 - 08/06/2024 from 7pm - 5am

3. 06/06/2024 - 08/06/2024 from 7pm - 5am.

If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U1026 Turret Lane, Ipswich from opposite car park for 30 metres southbound to facilitate disconnection of a water service. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

• Lower Brook Street, Star Lane, Lower Orwell Street, Key Street, College Street, Star Lane and no vice versa

• Star Lane, Lower Brook Street and no vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 04/06/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the A1156 Felixstowe Road Service Road, Purdis Farm outside Walmer to facilitate the installation of pressure post and attach to the main pipework. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be the A1156 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 03/06/2024 - 07/06/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1070 The Street, Layham outside The Marquis Public House to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be the B1070, the A12, the A1214, the A1071, the B1070 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 03/06/2024 from 9.30am - 3pm if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U8100 Buxhall Road, Brettenham from 275 metres east of the junction with Buggs Lane for 30 metres eastbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be the Buggs Lane, Cooks Green, Brettenham Road and vice versa.

• U7064 The Green, Depden from Church End to the Road from the A143 to the C659

• U7064 Road from A143 to the C659, Depden from The Green to Ashfield Green.

This is to facilitate carriageway repairs. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be A143, The Street, Chevington Road Chedburgh, Chedburgh Road, Hargrave Road, Chevington Road Hargrave, Wickhambrook Road, Ashfield Green and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 03/06/2024 - 05/06/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the A1092 Windmill Hill, Long Melford from 20 metres west of Cranmore Hill for 95 metres westbound to facilitate pole replacements. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be A1017, the A1124, the A134, the A1092 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 02/06/2024 from 9.30am - 4pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY TRAFFIC ON PART OF THE A131 GAINSBOROUGH ROAD, U8701 CROFT ROAD AND A131 GREGORY STREET, SUDBURY

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the:

• A131 Gainsborough Road, Sudbury from 10 metres north of The Croft to 37 metres south of The Croft

• U8701 Croft Road, Sudbury from New Street to Gainsborough Road.

This is to facilitate carriageway repairs. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

• Gainsborough Road -the A131, the A1124, the A1017, the A1092, theA134, the A131 and no vice versa

• Croft Road - New Street, Prince Street and no vice versa.

For the duration of this closure, there will be a suspension of the one-way traffic on the A131 Gainsborough Road, Sudbury and the A131 Gregory Street, Sudbury. It is intended that these measures will operate from 04/06/2024 - 06/06/2024 from 8pm - 5am but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U5241 Fords Green, Cotton from 130 metres east from the junction with The B1113 for 40 metres eastbound to facilitate installing a new boundary box. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Broad Road, Parkers Road, the road from the C565 to the 5241 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 03/06/2024 - 04/06/2024 from 7am - 5pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order for a temporary speed restriction on the following roads: 40mph speed restriction:

• U5953 Lea Road, Great Ashfield from 20 metres east of Lea View to Lea Cottages

• U5944 Norton Road, Great Ashfield from Little Mill Cottage to Willow Cottage.

30mph speed restriction:

• C558 Ashfield Road, Elmswell from Norton Road to adjacent to The Lodge

• C558 Elmswell Road, Great Ashfield from 60 metres north of Lea Lane to Norton Road

• U5953 Lea Road, Great Ashfield from Lea Cottages to Elmswell Road

• U5944 Norton Road, Great Ashfield from Willow Cottage to Ashfield Road.

10mph speed restriction:

• C558 Ashfield Road, Elmswell from adjacent to The Lodge to 10 metres north of Halvasso.

This is to facilitate relaying of a water main. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

It is intended that these measures will operate on the following dates:

• 03/06/2024 - 06/06/2024

• 18/06/2024 - 20/06/2024

• 03/07/2024.
