Laisteridge Lane, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Connection Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL BACK LAISTERIDGE LANE SOUTH, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Back Laisteridge Lane South, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Back Laisteridge Lane South from its junction with Grantham Road to its junction with Back Grantham Road.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Back Laisteridge Lane South (unaffected section), Spring Place, Laisteridge Lane, Granthan Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 6th June 2024 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 10th June 2024 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
