Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (A449 Chester Road North/A456 Birmingham Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1: A449 Chester Road North from its junction with A456 Birmingham Road for a distance of 65 metres in a northerly direction and for 5 metres in a southerly direction. Closure 2: A456 Birmingham Road from its junction with A449 Chester Road North for a distance of 40 metres in a westerly direction and 55 metres in an easterly direction.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Diversion Closure 1: A449 Chester Road North - A449 Chester Road North, A451 Stourbridge Road, A451 Horsefair, A456 The Ringway, A448 Comberton Hill, A449 Chester Road North and vice versa. Diversion Closure 2: A456 Birmingham Road -A456 Birmingham Road, A451 Ringway, A448 Comberton Hill, A448 Comberton Road, A448 Bromsgrove Road, A450 Worcester Road, A456 Kidderminster Road South, A456 Birmingham Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 nights (20:00-5:30) between 19 June 2024 and 2 July 2024.
(C2191 Greenway, Rock) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2191 Greenway from its junction with C2021 Heightington Road to its
junction with Organs Hill (Private)
Reason: To renew existing BT pole in verge side by HSC Worcester Ltd.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other
form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route:C2191 Greenway, C2189 Porchbrook Road, C2189 Quarry Road, C2189 Boraston Road, C2021 Heightington Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 17 June 2024.
(U10006 Bliss Gate Road, Rock) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U10006 Bliss Gate Road from its junction with C2021 Bliss Gate Road for a
distance of 110 metres eastbound.
Reason: To renew existing BT pole in verge side by HSC Worcester Ltd.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2021 Bliss Gate Road, A456 Callow Hill, C2194 Lye Head Road, U10006 Cross Bank, U10006 Bliss Gate Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 17 June 2024.
(B4549 Sutton Park Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of B4549 Sutton Park Road from its junction with A451 Stourport Road to its junction with U12179 Sutton Park Road Service Road. Reason: Sewer works by Severn Trent Water. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A451 Stourport Road, A4535 Sutton Road, A456 Bewdley Hill, B4549 Sutton Park Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days. Commencing: 27 May 2024.
(C2193 Gorst Hill, Rock) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2193 Gorst Hill from its junction with C2021 Bliss Gate Road to its junction with
U10006 Dark Lane.
Reason: Utility work by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2021 Bliss Gate Road, U10005 Gorst Hill Road, C2193 Gorst Hill and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 28 May 2024.
(U10001 Church Lane, Rock) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U10001 Church Lane from its junction with U10002 Church Lane to its
junction with A4117 Cleobury Road.
Reason: Renewal of BT pole by HSC Worcester Ltd.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other
form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A4117 Cleobury Road, U10003 New Road, U10001Church Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 17 June 2024.
(U12026 Woodbury Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U12026 Woodbury Road from its junction with U12025 Jubilee Drive South
for a distance of 60 metres in a southerly direction.
Reason: Dropped kerb for new vehicle crossing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other
form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U12026 Woodbury Road (part), U12025 Jubilee Drive South and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 17 June 2024.
(C2189 Quarry Road, Rock) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2189 Quarry Road from its junction with C2189 Porchbrook Road for a distance of 740 Metres in a North Easterly direction. Reason: To renew existing BT pole in verge side by HSC Worcester Ltd.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2189 Greenway, C2021 Heightington Road, C2189 Boraston Road, C2189 Quarry Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 16 June 2024.
(C2198 Clows Top Road, Bayton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2198 Clows Top Road from its junction with U95607 Leasowes for a
distance of 350 metres east.
Reason: To renew existing BT pole in verge side by HSC Worcester Ltd.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2096 Bayton, B4202 Clows Top, C2198 Clows Top Road, C2198 Bayton and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 16 June 2024.
(C2024 Pensax, Pensax) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2024 Pensax from its junction with C2024 Stockton to its junction with B4202 Worcester Road.
Reason: Installation of Boundary box by Severn Trent water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2024 Pensax, B4202 Worcester Road, C2024 Pensax, B4202 Worcester Road, C2192 Menith Wood, C2192 Menith Wood to Malvern Hills Boundary, C2192 Penn Hall Lane, C2192 Pensax Common and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 17 June 2024.
(C2082 Fox Lane/U13610 Dobes Lane, Chaddesley Corbett) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of: Closure 1: C2082 Fox Lane from its junction with A448 Kidderminster Road to its junction with U13610 Dobes Lane. Closure 2: U13610 Dobes Lane from its junction with C2282 Fox Lane for a distance of 210 metres in a north westerly direction. Reason: To provide safe access for overhead cabling works by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: Diversion for Closure 1: C2082 Fox Lane - A448 Lodge Ford Hill, C2018 Clattercut Lane, C2082 Lunnon Lane, C2082 Cakebole Lane and vice versa. Diversion for Closure 2: U13610 Dobes Lane - U13610 Dobes Lane (part), A448 Bromsgrove Road, A448 Kidderminster Road, A448 Lodge Ford Hill, C2018 Clattercut Lane, C2082 Lunnon Lane, C2082 Cakebole Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 29 May 2024.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (B4202 and UC95611, Snead Common) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 2000 (Revocation) and (Various Roads, Snead Common) (40 mph Speed Limit) Order 2024
On 9 May 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to Update the speed limit 40 miles per hour on the following lengths of roads: Snead Common B4202 From a point 115 metres southeast of its junction with C2024 in a south easterly direction to a point 115 metres southeast of its junction with UC95612. UC95611 For its entire length
There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 30 May 2024.

(Wyre Forest District - Kidderminster area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2024 [Prohibition of Waiting and No Stopping on School Access markings on C2109 and Drakelow Lane, Wolverley]
Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length and sides of roads in Wolverley:-

C2019 (west side) - From its junction with Drakelow Lane for a distance of 8m in a northerly direction and 6m in a southerly direction.
Drakelow Lane (south side)- From its junction with C2019 for a distance of 17m in a westerly direction.
Drakelow Lane (north side) - From its junction with C2019 for a distance of 17m in a westerly direction.
Proposed No stopping on school access markings at all times:
C2019 (west side) - From a point opposite The Shortyard junction for a distance of 26.7m in a southerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
