What is happening?

DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL (TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF BAYER STREET AND SURROUNDING STREETS, COSELEY) 

ORDER 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make an Order, the effects of which will be the temporary closure of: • Bayer Steet, Coseley, from Green Street to Broad Street; • Avenue Road, Coseley, from Tunnel Street Island to Old Meeting Road; • Old Meeting Road, Coseley, from Avenue Road to Wallbrook Street. The purpose of the restrictions is to safely facilitate carriageway reconstruction works on or near the affected roads. The Order will come into force on Sunday 9th June 2024 and the works are anticipated to be completed on Sunday 16th June 2024. Work will be taking place on Sundays only. The Order may remain in force for a period of up to 18 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. Diversions for all vehicular traffic shall be via: Wallbrook Street, Broad Street, Bridge Street, Central Drive, Green Street, and vice versa.
