Sevenoaks, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

 SEVENOAKS AREA

B2027 CLINTON LANE, BOUGH BEECH. TN8 7NR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2027 Clinton Lane, Bough Beech, from 23.00hrs on 23rd June 2024 to 04.00hrs on 24th June 2024 or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed 100M either side of Bough Beach Access Point.

The alternative route is via B2027 Clinton Lane/Bough Beech Road, B269 Pootings Road/Spout Lane, B2026 Main Road/Station Road/Mont St Aignan Way/High Street, Hever Road, B2027 Chequers Hill and vice versa.

BETHEL ROAD, SEVENOAKS. TN13 3UE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & SUSPENSION OF ONE WAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bethel Road, Sevenoaks, on or after 20th June 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 36.

The alternative route for:

Vehicles travelling north along Bethel Road - Holly Bush Lane, Bayham Road, Quakers Hall Lane.

Vehicles travelling south along Bethel Road - Quakers Hall Lane, A225 St Johns Hill, Holly Bush Lane, Cedar Terrace Road.

ENSFIELD ROAD, LEIGH, TN11 8RZ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of tree cutting, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ensfield Road, Leigh, on or after 3rd June 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from the junction at the Tudor Trail to just before Ensfield Bridge.

The alternative route is via Ensfield Road, Hayesden Lane, B2176 Penhurst Road, B2176 Rogues Hill, B2188 High Street, B2176 Penshurst Road, B2027 Penshurst Road, Lower Green Road and vice versa.

FURNACE LANE, COWDEN. TN8 7JP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of drainage repair works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Furnace Lane, Cowden, on or after 20th June 2024 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Furnace House.

The alternative route is via Smithers Lane, Shepherds Grove Lane, A264 Holtye Road, Holtye Hill and vice versa.

HIGH STREET, FARNINGHAM. DA4 0DW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of drainage improvement works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of High Street, Farningham, on or after 17th June 2024 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Lion Cottages.

The alternative route is via Dartford Road, A20 London Road, A225 Eynsford Road and vice versa.

PEMBROKE ROAD, SEVENOAKS. TN13 1ZW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pembroke Road, Sevenoaks, between 20.00hrs and 05.00hrs nightly, with the road open outside these times from 17th June 2024, with estimated completion by 19th June 2024 or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 7.

The alternative route is via Pembroke Road, A224 London Road, B2020 St Botolph’s Road, A225 Dartford Road/High Street and vice versa.

POUND LANE, SEVENOAKS, TN13 3AT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pound Lane, Sevenoaks, on or after 3rd June 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from outside 30 to 13.

The alternative route is via Pound Lane, Vine Avenue, Hitchen Hatch Lane, A225 Dartford Road, B2020 St Botolph’s Road and vice versa.

POUNDSBRIDGE, PENSHURST, TN11 8AL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Poundsbridge, Penshurst, on or after 6th June 2024 for up to 1day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed near Tudor Cottage.

The alternative route is via Penshurst Road, Speldhurst, Penshurst Road, Tunbridge Wells, Speldhurst Hill, Barden Road, B2176 Penshurst Road, Tunbridge Wells, B2176 Penshurst Road, Tonbridge, Poundsbridge Lane, Tonbridge, Poundsbridge Lane, Penshurst and vice versa.

PUDDLEDOCK LANE, WESTERHAM. TN16 1PY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of UK Power Networks works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Puddledock Lane, Westerham, on or after 17th June 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Bardogs.

The alternative route is via Puddledock Lane, Toys Hill, B2042 Ide Hill Road, B269 Pootings Road, Mapleton Road and vice versa.

TINKERPOT LANE, WEST KINGSDOWN. TN15 6AA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of tree cutting, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Tinkerpot Lane, West Kingsdown, on or after 17th June 2024 for up to 10 hours or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Fox Hollow Cottage.

The alternative route is via Tinkerpot Lane, School Lane, A20 London Road/Gorse Hill, A225 Eynsford Road/High Street/Station Road/Shoreham Road, Pilgrims Way East, Row Dow, Birchin Cross Road, Clarkes Green Lane and vice versa.
