HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:
(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF MANGROVE LANE, BRICKENDON/ MANGROVE ROAD, HERTFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Mangrove Lane, Brickendon/ Mangrove Road, Hertford from a point 214m south east of its junction with Oak Grove north westwards to its junction with Hagsdell Lane, a distance of approximately 718m (“the length of Roads”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Mangrove Lane, Goose Green Lord Street, Lord Street, Taverners Way, Pauls Lane, Amwell Street, A1170 Amwell Street, B1197 (Hertford Road/ London Road) and A414 (London Road/Mangrove Road).
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the length of Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 10 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the length of Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BAAS LANE, BROXBOURNE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Baas Lane, Broxbourne from a point in line with the northern boundary of ‘Woodside’ south westwards for a distance of approximately 30m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Baas Lane, Park Lane, A1170 High Road, Bell Lane and Baas Lane.
The Order is needed because electrical service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 10 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE STREET, BRAUGHING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of The Street, Braughing from its northernmost junction with The Square south westwards to its junction with Green Lane, a distance of approximately 113m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via The Square, Pelham Road, Braughing Road, Patient End, C35 (unnamed road), C15 (unnamed road), Gravesend, Clapgate, Albury Road, Standon Road, A120 (Standon Road/Stortford Road/Kents Lane/ Standon Road), A10 Puckeridge Bypass, B1368 (Wickham Hill/Station Road), Fore Street and The Street.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 10 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF TOWN LANE, BENINGTON) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Town Lane, Benington from its junction with Church Green south eastwards, north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Whempstead Road, a distance of approximately 1052m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Church Green, Walkern Road, High Street, Ware Road, A602 (Ware Road/Tonwell Bypass), Sacombe Pound, Munden Road, Whempstead Lane and Whempstead Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 11 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE ROAD FRONTING NOS.70-82 CHURCHGATE, CHESHUNT) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the road fronting Nos.70-82 Churchgate, Cheshunt from its junction with Churchgate north eastwards for a distance of approximately 74m (“the Road”), except for access.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because the renewal of an existing utility pole is proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 13 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN NORTHWOOD CLOSE, CHESHUNT) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order
under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Northwood Close, Cheshunt from its junction with Allwood Road north eastwards and north westwards for its entire length (“the Road”), except for access.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 10 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF STATION ROAD, SAWBRIDGEWORTH) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Station Road, Sawbridgeworth from a point 127m north east of its junction with Sawbridgeworth Public Footpath No.039 north eastwards for a distance of approximately 65m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Station Road, A1184 (London Road/Cambridge Road/London Road), B1383 (Thorley Street/London Road), A1060 (Hallingbury Road/Latchmore Bank/Lower Road/Stortford Road), Sawbridgeworth Road and Station Road.
The Order is needed because level crossing inspection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 26 May 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF C14 (UNNAMED ROAD), ARDELEY) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of C14 (unnamed road), Ardeley from its junction with School Lane north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 80m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via C14 (unnamed road), Moor Green Road, C14 (unnamed road), Mentley Lane, C16 Great Munden, Mentley Lane West, A10 (Puckeridge Bypass/unnamed road/Buntingford Bypass), A507 Baldock Road, B1037 (unnamed road/White Hill) and C14 (unnamed road).
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 27 May 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN THE A10 NORTHBOUND SLIP ROAD LEADING ONTO THE A414 RUSH GREEN ROUNDABOUT, HERTFORD HEATH, THE A10 NORTHBOUND SLIP ROAD LEADING FROM THE A414 RUSH GREEN ROUNDABOUT, HERTFORD, THE A10 SOUTHBOUND SLIP ROAD LEADING ONTO THE A414 RUSH GREEN ROUNDABOUT AND THE A10 SOUTHBOUND SLIP ROAD LEADING FROM THE A414 RUSH GREEN ROUNDABOUT, WARE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. the A10 northbound slip road leading onto the A414 Rush Green roundabout, Hertford Heath from its junction with the northbound carriageway of A10 (unnamed road) north westwards and south westwards to its junction with the A414 Rush Green roundabout, a distance of approximately 428m.
An alternative route will be via A10 (unnamed road), the A602 Westmill Road/ B1001 Westmill Road roundabout and A10 (unnamed road).
2. the A10 northbound slip road leading from the A414 Rush Green roundabout, Hertford from its junction with the A414 Rush Green roundabout north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with the northbound carriageway of A10 (unnamed road), a distance of approximately 678m.
An alternative route will be via A10 (unnamed road), the A10 unnamed road/ Amwell Link Road roundabout and A10 (unnamed road).
3. the A10 southbound slip road leading onto the A414 Rush Green roundabout, Ware from its junction with the southbound carriageway of A10 (unnamed road) south eastwards to its junction with the A414 Rush Green roundabout, a distance of approximately 457m.
An alternative route will be via A10 (unnamed road), the A10 Amwell Link Road roundabout and A10 (unnamed road).
4. the A10 southbound slip road leading from the A414 Rush Green roundabout, Ware from its junction with the A414 Rush Green roundabout south eastwards to its junction with the southbound carriageway of A10 (unnamed road), a distance of approximately 674m.
An alternative route will be via A10 (unnamed road), the A602 Westmill Road/ B1001 Westmill Road roundabout and A10 (unnamed road).
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 27 May 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WHITLEY ROAD, HODDESDON) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Whitley Road, Hoddesdon from its junction with Old Highway south westwards for a distance of approximately 20m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Old Highway, Rye Road, Walton Road and Whitley Road.
The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 28 May 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF B176 TURNERS HILL, CHESHUNT) ORDER NO.2 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B176 Turners Hill, Cheshunt from its junction with Albury Grove Road south eastwards to its junction with Theobalds Lane, a distance of approximately 167m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via B176 Turners Hill, B198 College Road, A10 Great Cambridge Road, A121 Winston Churchill Way and B176 (High Street/ Crossbrook Street/Turners Hill).
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

An alternative route will be via Cold Christmas Lane, Cambridge Road, A1170 (Wadesmill Road/Baldock Street/High Street), B1004 Star Street/Widbury Hill/Ware Road), C41 (unnamed road) and Fanhams Hall Road.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

An alternative route will be via B176 High Road, A10 Great Cambridge Road and B156 Halfhide Lane.
The Order is needed because sewer connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Robins Nest Hill, Little Berkhamsted from its junction with B158 Lower Hatfield Road south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Stockings Lane, a distance of approximately 1180 metres (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via B158 (Lower Hatfield Road/Horns Mill Road), Brickendon Lane, Pembridge Lane, White Stubbs Lane, C54 (unnamed road), Church Road and Robins Nest Hill.
The Order is needed because utility services works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of The Old Coach Road, Cole Green from its junction with Birch Green eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Hertingfordbury Road, a distance of approximately 939 metres (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via The Old Coach Road, Cole Green, Station Road, Letty Green, Station Road, B158 Lower Hatfield Road, St Marys Lane and Hertingfordbury Road.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (BRITANNIA ROAD AND BEATTY ROAD, WALTHAM CROSS) (RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce new waiting restrictions in parts of Waltham Cross as specified in the Schedule to this Notice. The Order will come into effect on Monday 27 May 2024.
Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are held on deposit and may be viewed from 23 May 2024 to 4 July 2024 during office hours at Main Reception, Hertfordshire County Council, County Hall, Pegs Lane, Hertford or online at www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/trafficorders by selecting Broxbourne and looking at Ref: B00224.

SCHEDULE: No waiting at any time – those sections of road listed below and as set out in the Order and scheme plan – Parts of Britannia Road and Beatty Road.
