HYSBYSIR drwy hyn fod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Caerffili, wrth weithredu ei bwerau o dan Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), wedi gwneud Gorchymyn a fydd â’r effaith o wahardd cerbydau rhag mynd ar hyd: The Square, Penpedairheol o’r gyffordd â Hengoed Road am bellter o tua 88 metr i gyfeiriad y de.
Disgwylir i’r Gorchymyn arfaethedig gychwyn ar 25 Mai 2024 am gyfnod nid yn fwy na deunaw mis neu nes bod y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau, p’un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith gael ei gwblhau erbyn 2 Mehefin 2024.
Ni fydd mynediad ar gael i’r gwasanaethau brys na phreswylwyr. Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerddwyr.
Mae llwybrau amgen ar hyd A469, A472, B4255, B4254 Gelligaer Road.

THE SQUARE PENPEDAIRHEOL
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that Caerphilly County Borough Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:
The Square, Penpedairheol from its junction with Hengoed Road for a distance of 88 metres in a southerly direction.
The proposed Order is expected to commence on 25 May 2024 for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated the works will be complete by 2 June 2024.
Access for emergency services and residents will not be maintained. Access for pedestrians will be maintained.
Alternative routes are via A469, A472, B4255, B4254 Gelligaer Road.
The reason for making the Order is to allow for gas mains replacement.
The order is required by Wales & West Utilities.
