What is happening?

THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(B680 KIRK LANE AND ELMS PARK, RUDDINGTON)
(PROHIBITION OF WAITING) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024 (8381)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Nottinghamshire) Designation Order 2008 (SI 2008 No. 1086), as amended, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Ruddington in the Borough of Rushcliffe: -

1. Proposed Prohibition from from Waiting At Any Time along the following lengths of road:- B680 KIRK LANE, RUDDINGTON (the south side)U|

-From a point 12 metres east of its junction with Elms Park in a westerly direction to a point 12 metres west of that junction ELMS PARK, RUDDINGTON (the north-east side)

- From its junction with Kirk Lane in a south-easterly direction for 13 metres (the south-west side)

- From its junction with Kirk Lane in a south-easterly direction for 15 metres

2. Proposed Prohibition from from Mon - Sat 8am - 6pm along the following lengths of road:-

B680 KIRK LANE, RUDDINGTON (the south side)

- From a point 12 metres west of its junction with Elms Park in a westerly direction for 63 metres Relevant documents may be inspected at during opening hours: -

a) Nottinghamshire County Council, County Hall, Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, NG2 7QP

b) Ruddington Library, Church St, Ruddington, Nottingham NG11 6HD Or by visiting the County Council’s Website ( https://consult.nottinghamshire.gov.uk )

Written comments or objections you have may be shared by either letter or email to tmconsultation@viaem.co.uk (stating grounds and quoting ref: 8381) must be received by 21st June 2024.

The proposed restrictions are being introduced to deal with inconsiderate and obstructive parking at these locations.
