ORDER 2024 (VARIATION NO.*) ORDER 20**

THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF CALDERDALE (ELLAND)

(TRAFFIC REGULATION) (NO.*) ORDER 20** ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

The Borough Council of Calderdale (“the Council”) in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) hereby gives notice that it intends to make the above Orders, the effects of which are: (A) The Borough Council of Calderdale (On-Street Waiting, Loading and Parking Places) Order 2024 (Variation No.*) Order 20** will introduce the following restrictions on lengths of the following roads:

(B) The Borough Council of Calderdale (Elland) (Traffic Regulation) (No.*) Order 20** will introduce the following restrictions on lengths of the following roads:

Pedestrian and Cycle Zone – no driving except for Loading 8am to 10am and 4pm to 6pm on Monday to Sunday inclusive.

Copies of the proposed Orders, the statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and plans showing the proposals, are available for inspection at Halifax Central Library, Halifax, HX1 1QG, from 10.00 am to 5.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays and 10.00 am to 4.00 pm on Saturdays or from the councils website at https://new.calderdale.gov.uk/streets-andtransport/transport-initiatives/tro/current-tro/elland-futurehigh-street-fund-informal.

If you wish to object to or make a representation to any part of the proposed Orders, you must send the grounds for your objection or support in writing to reach the Council by no later than 14 June 2024 by commenting on the TraffWeb system under ‘Public Consultation’ using the following link, https://calderdale.traffweb.app/traffweb/1/TrafficOrders, or writing to either ProposedTRO@calderdale.gov.uk or to Highways and Transportation, C/O the Town Hall. Crossley Street, Halifax, HX1 1UJ for the attention of the Highways Traffic Team. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
