What is happening?
West Sussex County Council
(Rustington: Claigmar Road)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that West Sussex County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Claigmar Road in Rustington, from its junction with The Street, southwards for 50m.
The road closure is needed to allow maintenance works to telecommunications cables to be carried out in safety.
The Order will come into effect on 28 May 2024 and remain in force until 8 June 2024. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Worthing: Greenland Road)
(Temporary Day-Time Closure) Order 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that West Sussex County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Greenland Road in Worthing from a point 40m south of its junction with Salvington Road, southwards for 25m. This restriction will be operative between 8am and 5pm.
The road closure is needed to allow water and sewerage connections to be made to a new building.
The Order will come into effect on 27 May 2024 and is expected to remain in force until 7 June 2024. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Worthing and Ferring: Various Roads)
(Worthing 10K Run) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that West Sussex County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary traffic restrictions on Roads in Worthing as follows:
To temporarily close MARINE CRESCENT between Sea Place and Sea Lane (Goring), MARINE DRIVE between Sea Lane (Goring) and Sea Lane (Ferring), GLYNDE AVENUE and MARINE DRIVE ACCESS ROAD throughout their entire lengths and AMBERLEY DRIVE between Glynde Avenue and Marine Drive Access Road.
To temporarily close MARINE PARADE/WEST PARADE to westbound traffic between Heene Road and George V Avenue, GEORGE V AVENUE to northbound traffic between West Parade and Eirene Road, and EIRENE ROAD to westbound traffic between George V Avenue and Sea Place.
These restrictions are needed to allow the Worthing 10k Run 2024 to take place in safety.
The Order will come into effect at 9am on 9 June 2024 and remain in force until midday the same day.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Angmering: High Street)
(Temporary Day-Time Closure) Order 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, West Sussex County Council intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close High Street in Angmering from its junction with Roundstone Lane, eastwards to the eastern end of the road. This restriction will operate between 8 am and 5pm.
The road closure is needed to allow new highway drainage to be installed in safety.
The Order will come into effect on 10 June 2024 and remain in force until 5 August 2024. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order pedestrian access will be maintained at all times and essential vehicular access provided by arrangement with the contractor conducting the works.
