Longformacus, Duns and Ellerburn Wood - Multiple Temporary Road Closure Orders
What is happening?
SCOTTISH BORDERS COUNCIL
(C98 South of Longformacus) (Temporary Closing) Order 2024
The Scottish Borders Council (C98 South of Longformacus) (Temporary Closing) Order 2024 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 00:01 on 28 May 2024 and is expected to remain in effect until 23:59 on 10 June 2024 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for BT Openreach works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C98 south of Longformacus.
The alternative route for south eastbound traffic is via the C98, D1/6, B6355, B6365, A6112, A6105 and C98 to the point of closure, for north westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

(Easter Street, Duns) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2024
The Scottish Borders Council (Easter Street, Duns) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2024 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 07:30 on 28 May 2024 and is expected to remain in effect until 23:59 on 5 June 2024 – 24 hour restriction. The Order is required for Scottish Water works.
When the Order comes into effect, no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on both sides of Easter Street, Duns from its junction with Currie Street to Number 37.

(C107 Ellerburn Wood, Abbey St Bathans)
(Temporary Closing) Order 2024
The Scottish Borders Council (C107 Ellerburn Wood, Abbey St Bathans) (Temporary Closing) Order 2024 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 27 May 2024 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of five days between the hours of 08:30 and 17:00 each day. The Order is required for patching works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C107 at Ellerburn Wood, south Abbey St Bathans. The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the C107, C106, A6112, B6355 and C107 to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
