What is happening?

THE BOROUGH OF HALTON
(BUTTERMERE GROVE & SEDBERGH GROVE, RUNCORN)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OR RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Halton Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order under Section 14(1) Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Road(s) affected: Footpath C7-21BW between Buttermere Grove and Sedbergh Grove, Beechwood, Runcorn.

Reason for making the Order: the Council is satisfied that traffic on the road should be prohibited and/or restricted because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road.

Effect of the Order: during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in or along the road and no person shall during the works period enter or proceed in or along the road.

Alternative Routes: where available suitably signed alternative route(s) will be provided.

Date Order to come into effect: 6 June 2024

Maximum duration of the Order: 6 months from the date the Order comes into effect.

Note: the footpath closure is required to lay an electrical mains extension and is expected to be over a period of 6 days from 6 June 2024 to 13 June 2024.
