THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (FORD LANE, LITTLE EATON) (7.5 TONNE STRUCTURAL WEIGHT LIMIT, 7.5 TONNE MAXIMUM GROSS WEIGHT RESTRICTION) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that, on Thursday the 16th May 2024 Derbyshire County Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into operation on Monday the 27th May 2024 and its effect is: PROHIBITION OF MECHANICALLY PROPELLED VEHICLES, THE MAXIMUM GROSS WEIGHT OF WHICH EXCEEDS 7.5 TONNE (EXCEPT VEHICLES BEING USED FOR FIRE BRIGADE, AMBULANCE OR POLICE PURPOSES):
Ford Lane, Little Eaton
Both sides
From a point 165 metres north and north-west from its junction with the A38 Abbey Hill in a north-westerly direction for a distance of 60 metres.
A copy of the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection at the County Council’s principal offices known as County Hall on Smedley Street in Matlock, at Duffield Library, Wirksworth Road, Duffield, Belper, Derbyshire, DE56 4GH during opening hours and on request by emailing place. permanentTRO@derbyshire.gov.ukB| until 6 weeks after the Order is made until 27th June 2024.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the ground that a requirement of that Act or any relevant regulation made under it has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the 16th May 2024 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
