What is happening?
BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL
(MAYPOLE GROVE ETC, BIRMINGHAM)
(TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 202*
(VICTORIA ROAD & METCHLEY LANE, HARBORNE) (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 202*
(SLADE LANE, BILLESLEY) (PROHIBITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES) ORDER 202*
NOTICE is hereby given that the above named Council propose to make these Orders under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49, 53, 84(1) and (2) 101 and 102 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended) the effect of which will be as follows:
1. To introduce No Waiting at any time restrictions on lengths of MAYPOLE GROVE, PRINCE OF WALES LANE, THE LINDENS, BALDEN ROAD, LINDSWORTH APPROACH, MONYHULL HALL ROAD, SIR HARRY’S ROAD and HAWTHORNE ROAD;
2. To introduce No Waiting at any time and No Loading Mon - Fri 7am - 7pm restriction on lengths of YATELEY ROAD;
3. To introduce No Waiting and No Loading Mon - Fri 8.00am - 9.30am and 2.30am - 4.00pm restriction on a length of RIDGACRE ROAD;
4. To introduce a 20mph speed limit on lengths of VICTORIA ROAD, HARTLEDON ROAD, BITON CLOSE, ST PETERS ROAD, ALBERT ROAD and METCHLEY LANE;
5. To introduce a Prohibition of Motor Vehicles except for access restriction on a length of SLADE LANE.

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should write to the Assistant Director – Transport & Connectivity at Place, Prosperity & Sustainability Directorate, Birmingham City Council, PO Box 14439, Birmingham B2 2JE stating the grounds for objection by the 13th June 2024.
