What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF 
WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD
(ST MARKS ROAD (PART), MAIDENHEAD 
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) 
ORDER 2024
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead has made an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of St Marks Road from a point 70 metres eastward from its junction with Powney Road eastward for a 
distance of 20 metres.

The diversion route for traffic is via St Marks Road, A4 Bath Road, Courthouse Road and St Marks Road.

The purpose of the Order is to facilitate plugging off an old leaking main and as a result there will be the likelihood of danger to the public.

The Order shall come into operation from 09:30 hours on Tuesday 28 May until 16:00 hours on Friday 31 May 2024. There will be prohibition of driving when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
